Files to remove if you mistakenly encapsulate a disk. |
|
15 Jun 1999 |
If your intention was to initialize a disk, but you mistakenly
chose to encapsulate it, you need to remove some files to
stop volume manager from encapsulating this disk on the
next reboot.
For example, if you miskakenly encapsulated the disk c3t3d2,
you would remove the following:
# rm -r /etc/vx/reconfig.d/disk.d/c3t3d2
# rm /etc/vx/reconfig.d/state.d/reconfig
# rm /etc/vx/reconfig.d/state.d/init-cap-part
# rm /etc/vx/reconfig.d/disks-cap-part
