11838 | What is a panic zero | 17 Nov 1995 |
Description | Top |
What is a panic zero? A panic zero is a panic caused by trying to execute location zero. This is usually caused by a user / administrator using "L1-A" in response to a hung system in order to get a core image of memory ( see infodoc 11837 How to forcea crash when my machine is hung? ). But it is possible for the sysem to cause this on its own.
