Trusted Solaris[tm] 7 is the follow-on release to Trusted Solaris 2.5.1 and is based on the Solaris 7 operating environment.

The Common Desktop Environment (CDE) 1.3 and Solstice[tm] AdminSuite[tm] 2.3 administrative tools are tightly integrated into the Trusted Solaris 7 operating environment for familiarity and ease of use by normal users and administrators.

Trusted Solaris 7 now supports:

• 64-bit operations

• Sun Enterprise 10000 server

• Intel/X 86 platform

• Labeled printing on a network printer (single-label only)

• Other recently introduced hardware and peripherals (for a list of hardware supported by the Solaris 7 Operating Environment, see the Solaris 7 8/99 Sun Hardware Platform Guide.)

We have removed support for information labels to accomodate functionality planned for future releases.
